The Corvinus Trio is a family ensemble. Their repertoire contains German and Anglo-Saxon folk songs, along with Italian and Hungarian renaissance songs and classical transcriptions.
Pianist Zsófia Váray-Major and cellist Péter Váray graduated from the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Péter is co-founder and principal cellist of the Junior Prima-Award winning Anima Musicæ Chamber Orchestra. The third member of the Trio is guitarist László András Major, a former rock musician, who now works as a music teacher.
